Splatoon Raiders Weapons Tier List
Class ranks for dens, bosses, and Spirhalite investment on Switch 2.
This weapons tier list ranks Splatoon Raiders classes by raid performance after reasonable Frye investment. It assumes you scrap junk, push a main toward the regular level-5 cap, and move shards into Primo five-star keepers that upgrade further. It does not assume Survivalist magically improves drops—because it does not.

Tier key
- S — Prefer investing here when the class drops; clears dens and bosses with low drama
- A — Excellent with the right tank gadgets; sometimes preferred in co-op niches
- B — Solid, especially if it is your highest star; not a panic reroll target
- C — Playable favorites; demand extra movement or trap support to keep timers green
Stars still beat tiers: a Primo C-class you pilot perfectly outruns a neglected S-class blue.
Early-game tier list (first Hideout hours)
| Tier | Classes | Why |
|---|---|---|
| S | Blasters | Instant AoE clear matches floor timers |
| S | Shooters | Safest learning curve; always useful |
| A | Rollers | Corridor dens become free |
| A | Dualies / Twincans | High reward if you already dodge well |
| A | Sloshers | Objective clumps melt |
| B | Splatlings | Strong but need charge safety |
| B | Splatanas | Boss melt, risky before gadgets mature |
| B | Brellas | Survival first, DPS second |
| C | Chargers / Stringers | Need perches and patience early |
| C | Brushes | Fine mobility paint; fewer “delete pack” buttons |
Beginner loadout still pairs these with Power tank + Splatchet + Splatellites from Power Tank Builds.
Mid-game tier list (gadgets unlocked, third slot online)
| Tier | Classes | Tank note |
|---|---|---|
| S | Splatlings | Speed Flywire / Jump Bomb unlocks their ceiling |
| S | Blasters | Still absurd with Power armor breaks |
| S | Splatanas | Power chase tools make melee safer |
| A | Sloshers / Rollers | Tactical traps or Speed dashes both work |
| A | Dualies / Twincans | Roll + Splatchet remains nasty |
| A | Shooters | Tactical Shot Pot pairing is comfy |
| B | Stringers / Chargers | Speed perches required for S-feeling play |
| B | Brellas | Co-op stabilizer more than solo carry |
| B | Brushes | Mobility tech raises them |
Endgame Primo tier list
Primo rarity reshuffles everything because upgrade headroom past level 5 dwarfs base class gossip. Rank within your owned Primos like this:
- Primo in a class you already clear dens with → automatic stash priority
- Primo Blaster / Splatling / Splatana / Slosher → meta-friendly ceilings
- Primo Shooter / Dualies / Roller → flexible A-tier forever
- Primo Charger / Stringer / Brella / Brush → specialist S if your hands match
Do not abandon a level-5 regular that is carrying Super Spicy clears until the Primo replacement is leveled enough to match it. Frye’s preview exists for a reason.

Investment order (Spirhalite)
- One early S/A class main to regular level 5
- Scrap everything else for shards (How to Get Weapons)
- Swap budget to Primo of that class
- Keep a second weapon in a different role at modest level for emergencies
- Only then experiment with novelty classes
Tank-adjusted callouts
- Power: bump Splatanas and Dualies up one emotional tier
- Speed: bump Splatlings, Chargers, Stringers, Rollers
- Tactical: bump Shooters, Brellas, Sloshers; Splatanas become safer
Gadget ranks that enable these bumps: Gadgets Tier List. Tank ranks: Tanks Tier List.
Anti-patterns this list rejects
- Ranking unupgraded greys as if they were Primos
- Raising difficulty for loot odds
- Declaring Chargers useless because you never painted a Flywire perch
- Holding five level-2 “S-tier names” instead of one level-5 reality

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What is the best weapon class in Splatoon Raiders?
Blasters and Splatlings lead many clear-speed charts, but the best class is the one you upgrade to high level—especially a Primo you can pilot.
Are Chargers low tier?
Early on they sit lower because charge time is risky. With Speed tank mobility they climb into strong specialist territory.
Should I always use an S-tier weapon?
Use the highest-star weapon in a class you play well. A mastered A-tier Primo beats a misplayed S-tier blue.
Do Primo weapons change the tier list?
Yes. Primo upgrade headroom past level 5 can outweigh base class rankings once you invest Spirhalite Shards.
Does difficulty change which weapons drop?
No. Difficulty only changes enemy strength. Farm dens with more enemies and crates for more rolls.
