Splatoon Raiders Gadgets Tier List

Global S-tier (almost always correct)

Cross-tank comparison (solo raids)

If we pretend you could own only five gadgets forever, the shopping list would look like: Splatellites, Splatchet, Shot Pot, Flywire, Bombloons. Everything else is contextual A-tier spice. That is why the beginner recommendation remains Power’s first two S-tiers—you get two globals immediately without Hideout development delays.

Co-op rank shifts

• Torqscrew climbs when teammates greed damage on objectives
• Brella players love Shot Pot even more because planting time is safer
• Duplicate Flywires get awkward—one Speed scout is usually enough
• Double Splatchet Power stacks still work but can starve trap coverage

Parts priority (once available)

1. Cooldown / duration on S-tier staples
2. Damage on your chosen burst button (Shellacker, Mitt, Jump Bomb)
3. QoL radius mods on Bombloons and Splatellites
4. Greedy exotic parts last

Ranking mistakes

• Calling Booyarang useless because Flywire exists—you need a slot while Flywire is locked
• Parking Shot Pot after the fight starts
• Ranking Meteor Mitt as Tactical (it is Power)
• Ignoring third-slot unlock timing when comparing tanks
• Expecting gadgets to alter loot tables (they do not; difficulty does not either)

Practical loadout shortlist

• Story push: Power Splatchet + Splatellites
• Primo weapon farm: Tactical Shot Pot + Bombloons (+ Hi-Fiver) for crate uptime
• Charge weapon chase: Speed Flywire + Blast Boot (+ Jump Bomb)
• Boss room: Power Splatchet + Splatellites + Spinwheel or Shellacker
