Splatoon Raiders Walkthrough Hub
From Pantree Beach to deeper Spirhalite raids—know where to go next.
Splatoon Raiders is a Switch 2 exclusive action-shooter that released on July 23, 2026. You play as a mechanic stranded with Deep Cut on the Spirhalite Islands, launching dungeon raids from a floating Hideout Ship. Progress is less about painting the most turf and more about picking the right dungeon type, surviving Salmonid pressure, and converting salvage into ship and kit upgrades.
This hub orients the campaign and the optional loops around it. Dive deeper with the dungeons guide, the island map overview, and the Hideout Ship systems page. For loadout prep, keep Controls, Items, and the raid checklist open beside the story route.
How progression actually works
Story advancement lives mainly in Past Adventures and key progression dungeons. Clearing them opens new islands, facilities, and sometimes stronger starter gear. Between those beats you should deliberately farm: Treasure Hunt for parts and scrolls, Shard Mining for Spirhalite Shards, Spirhalite gem search for rarer gems, Buried Ruins-style challenges for Relics, and Sampler Dungeons (compass challenges) for Skill Tomes that empower tanks.
Death is not a hard wipe of progress in the extract-everything sense—you keep weapons and salvage you already secured—but failing objectives still costs time. Play the difficulty that keeps fights readable: Tourist, Raider, or Survivalist only change enemy strength, not loot quality.
Early story spine: Lehlo to Erpp
Start on Lehlo Island at Pantree Beach. It is a Raid Level 1 Past Adventures tutorial: explore, learn shoot/swim/heal against the visible health bar, beat the early boss beat, and recover the machine that gets repaired back on the ship. Expect a starter weapon reward and the door to Erpp Island content.
On Erpp Island, the early ladder typically runs:
- Piel Coast — drill Spirhalite Crystals and secure treasure under rising Salmonid pressure.
- Blansh Seaway — follow radar objectives and destroy crystal targets before the timer or swarm overwhelms you.
- Scayl Buried Ruins — layered objectives that mix collection pressure with a serious boss fight.
Treat each clear as both story and a systems exam. If crystal defense fails, your issue may be gadget cadence from the Controls Hub rather than “not enough damage.”
Choosing dungeon types on purpose
When the map fills with icons, do not queue randomly:
- Need shards for weapon or facility costs? Prefer Shard Mining.
- Hunting gadget parts or Briny Scrolls? Treasure Hunt.
- Chasing tank power via Skill Tomes? Sampler Dungeons after you find Old Compasses.
- Building combat identity with Relic powers? Relic-focused ruins runs while wearing the tank you want the reward for.
- Advancing plot? Past Adventures / story markers first.
The dungeons page expands each type with farming intent. The map page explains how islands and compass reveals fit together.
Ship first, then greed
After every major story unlock, return to the Hideout Ship. Shiver’s Gadget Workshop, Frye’s Weapon Stash, Big Man’s Hoard, and the Mechanic’s Shack turn island junk into permanent strength. Ship level gates quality-of-life and advanced services, so dumping every shard into random weapon levels can stall construction. Read the Hideout Ship priorities before a long farm night.
Co-op without losing the plot
Raiders is solo-friendly and supports up to four players online or via local wireless after the dock radio unlock. Co-op shines on defense timers and boss burst windows, but hosts should still call the objective. A squad that ignores crystal drills will fail Piel Coast regardless of fashion-level weapons.
Call for Help exists for temporary assists when you are mostly solo. Use it on spiked story walls, then go back to self-sufficient clears so you are not stuck waiting on cooldowns.

Post-game and live updates
Credits rolling does not mean the Spirhalite Islands go quiet. Post-game routes reopen harder dungeons, completion checks, and the kind of spike fights that assume your Weapon Stash and Gadget Workshop are maxed. The Post-Game Walkthrough sequences those beats: which icons appear after the finale, what Salmonarch and Bottomless Buffet expect from your kit, and how to loop back into ending requirements without losing a week to random Treasure Hunts.
If you stepped away after launch, read Patch Notes before you re-queue. Ver 1.1.0 shipped balance tweaks, new boss access, and fixes that change how some post-game nodes behave on Switch 2. Pair patch context with How to Unlock Endings when you are chasing a specific finale, and with the Guides Hub boss pages when a single dungeon is the only blocker left.
Endings checklist mindset
Multiple endings reward different island habits—some want thorough scroll collection, others care about Bond levels or facility tiers. Treat endings like a audit: confirm Hoard registration, ship level, and story marker clears, then follow the endings guide’s branch table instead of guessing from forum spoilers. The Items Hub and Briny Scrolls page help when a route demands collection proof you cannot fake with combat stats alone.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Where does the Splatoon Raiders story begin?
On Lehlo Island at Pantree Beach, a Past Adventures tutorial dungeon. Clearing it teaches core combat and opens the path toward Erpp Island raids like Piel Coast.
Do I have to finish every dungeon type for the story?
No. Story markers and Past Adventures drive the plot. Treasure Hunt, mining, gem search, Sampler Dungeons, and many relic routes are progression accelerators and completion goals.
Is Splatoon Raiders only solo?
It is single-player-focused, but you can raid with up to three other players online or via local wireless after the early co-op unlock. Call for Help also offers temporary assists.
What should I upgrade first?
Keep enough Spirhalite Shards for upcoming Hideout Ship facility unlocks, then invest in the tank and weapon you actually clear dungeons with. See the Hideout Ship guide for the full loop.
Is there post-game content after the story?
Yes. The Post-Game Walkthrough covers harder raids, bosses like Salmonarch, and completion loops. Patch Notes document Ver 1.1.0 additions and balance changes.
